Filter Shipment Data by Specific Events
Overview
The “Specific events” filter assists users in filtering shipments based on particular tracking events, such as failed delivery attempts, misrouted, held by customs, etc. occurred at a specific location, date, and triggered by a particular reason. This makes it easier to quickly identify shipments that need attention, troubleshoot issues, or perform deeper event-based analysis without manually checking each shipment.

How to filter shipments by specific events
- Navigate to Shipments in your AfterShip Tracking admin.
- Click Add filters.
- Select Specific events under the Advanced filters category.

- Click "+Add filter group". Filter group 1 appears.
- Select the Event type, for example, Redelivery scheduled.

- Add Conditions like Event Date, Location, and Reason.

- Date - To select the date when the event/issue occurred, you can:
a. Choose a specific date.
b. Select a date between Date 1 and Date 2.
c. Pick the date from the last X days.
d. Use is before to find records before a specific date.
e. Use is after **to find records **after a specific date.

- Location - To select a specific Country, State, and City where an event/issue occurred, you can:
a. Choose a location that includes one or multiple Countries, States, and Cities.
b. Choose a location that excludes one or multiple Countries, States, and Cities.

- Reason - To select a specific reason that caused an event/issue, you can:
a. Choose a reason that includes one or multiple reasons.
b. Choose a reason that excludes one or multiple reasons.

- The selected value will be applied to populate the filtered shipments list in real-time.

Specific events and issues supported
An Event is a situation that occurs during the logistics and transportation of a package, each associated with a timestamp and tracking number for logistics companies and customers to track the location and status of the package.
- An event/issue always has a location and a time where and when it happened
- An event/issue may have a reason that leads to that event/issue happening
