How to Customize the Order Lookup Page

The Order Lookup page allows your customers to quickly find their orders using essential details like order numbers or tracking numbers. With AfterShip’s customization options, you can tailor the appearance, structure, and messaging of this page to match your brand and provide a smooth post-purchase experience.
Go to Sections > Order lookup page > Lookup fields.
Two main configuration tabs will appear on the screen: Settings and Style.
Under the Settings tab:
Order Number: Enter the order number in the text field provided.
Choose Verification Method: Email, Phone Number, or Postal Code.
Tracking Number: Enter the tracking number in the text field provided.
Under the Content tab:
Title: Enter a title in the text field provided. This is automatically applied in an H1 tag for SEO.
Button: Enter a button label in the text field provided.
You can add up to 48 characters in the Title and Button text fields.
When order is not found: Add an error description.
When shipment is not found: Add an error description.
You can add up to 80 characters in the Error descriptions text fields.
You can change the lookup section’s type to Hero banner to use a hero image for more modern user experience. Follow the below steps:
Select Order lookup > Settings.
Under Section type, select Hero banner.
Any changes to the design will apply to all page languages. Remember to check how your changes look and manually translate any new content for each language.
Customize the following fields:
Background color
Border color
Shadow color
Shape corner radius
Title: Customize the font, font size, font color.
Click Add Block to insert optional content into your order lookup page:
Image: Images can improve the visual appeal and can be used as clickable links to other pages on your store.
Image with text: Create engaging, interactive content that combines an image with text. You can even add a call-to-action button.
Text: Add headings, quotes, FAQs, and more. The text section supports both rich text and markdown so you can customize it how you like.
Instagram feed: Enhance brand engagement and increase your followers by displaying the latest from your Instagram feed.
Video: Insert a YouTube video to help tell your brand story, showcase new products, and present information in a more visually appealing way.
Click Footer under the order lookup section to configure the following:
Apple Wallet Order Tracking: With Order Tracking, your customers can now track orders directly from Wallet. Add a "Track with Apple Wallet" button to your tracking pages that appears when customers use an Apple device. To enable Apply wallet order tracking click here.
Social media links: Add links to social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest in the text fields provided.
Other links: You can add other links such as Customer support, Returns page, Terms and conditions page, Privacy policy page.
AfterShip branding: You can remove “Powered by AfterShip” footer by checking the checkbox.
You can customize the following fields:

Set up the order lookup page
1. Access lookup settings
Go to Sections > Order lookup page > Lookup fields.
Two main configuration tabs will appear on the screen: Settings and Style.
2. Configure lookup options
Under the Settings tab:
Order Number: Enter the order number in the text field provided.
Choose Verification Method: Email, Phone Number, or Postal Code.
Tracking Number: Enter the tracking number in the text field provided.
3. Customize content fields
Under the Content tab:
Title: Enter a title in the text field provided. This is automatically applied in an H1 tag for SEO.
Button: Enter a button label in the text field provided.

4. Define error descriptions
When order is not found: Add an error description.
When shipment is not found: Add an error description.
You can add up to 80 characters in the Error descriptions text fields.
Hero Banner
You can change the lookup section’s type to Hero banner to use a hero image for more modern user experience. Follow the below steps:
Select Order lookup > Settings.
Under Section type, select Hero banner.

5. Style the lookup page
Container
Customize the following fields:
Background color
Border color

6. Add custom blocks
