As an organization owner, you can delete your organization and associated data when you no longer use AfterShip products. However, the deletion process is irreversible, and you must meet specific requirements before you can proceed with deleting your organization. Step 1: Complete the pre-checklist


Before you can delete your organization, you must complete five essential tasks. If any of the tasks are incomplete, the system will display a notification in the banner.

Cancel all active subscriptions and make sure all subscriptions expire

To delete your organization, you need to cancel all active subscriptions associated with your organization.

How to cancel active subscriptions:

Navigate to your Organization’s Billing section. You can see all your active subscriptions under the Quota usage and fees tab.
Click on View billing info for the product you wish to see the current plan and billing details.
In the Current plan section, click the {...} icon and select Cancel auto-renewal
Select the reason for cancel and click Continue to cancel.
Repeat this process for your organization’s every active subscription.

Tip: If you cannot delete the organization due to an active subscription, you can submit a request to our support team to cancel all the active plans.

Remove all members from the organization

You must remove all the members from your organization before deleting it. Follow this guide to remove members from your organization

Navigate to your Organization’s Member section and start removing each member from your organization.

Resolve negative balances

If your organization has any negative balances, they must be resolved before proceeding.

Delete all apps installed on the organization

Any apps installed on your organization must be removed. This is a required step before deletion.

How to delete apps:

Navigate to Organization > Apps, and remove any installed apps. Visit each App’s store connections and remove the connected apps to continue to remove the main app itself.

The Delete option for the main app will be greyed out if you have multiple store connections associated with the app and they have not yet been removed.

If you have any custom domains associated with the organization, they need to be deleted.

Navigate to the Organization > Domains, and delete any associated domains.

Step 2: Delete the organization


Once you have completed the pre-check tasks, you are ready to delete your organization.

Verify your identity via email

The system will prompt you to verify your identity through email. Add the verification code sent to your email.

After verifying your identity, you will be asked to confirm the deletion.
After confirming the deletion, your organization will be deleted, and all associated data will be permanently removed.

If the system prevents you from deleting the organization due to active subscriptions, ensure all subscriptions are canceled and expired. If you're unable to cancel them, reach out to our support team to submit an immediate cancellation request.
