How to Schedule Shipments View Emails

If you frequently find yourself searching for shipment issues, whether it’s on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis, AfterShip Tracking’s scheduled view feature can greatly simplify your workflow and enhance your tracking experience. This feature helps you configure view schedules according to your preferred frequency and timing.


What you'll learn



Send shipment view over email


  1. Go to your AfterShip Tracking admin panel
  2. Click Shipments
  3. Select the view that you want to send over email
  4. Click Email this view



  1. Setup the details of the email in the right side panel


Recurrence: Click Send Now under the recurrence settings


Content: Configure the email message


  • Write suitable Subject for the email
  • Enter the Message that you want to show in the email body
  • Select the Recipients to which you want to send the email


An email will be sent to each selected recipient respectively


**Recipients: **


  • Click All members if you want to send the email to all the added members in the organization.
  • Click Specific members If you want to send it to selected members.


Additional options:


In this section, you can choose to attach the selected view in the email in multiple formats including CSV (standard format), CSV (custom format), Excel (standard format) **and **Excel (custom format).



  1. Once done, click Send email


Merchants can also send a test email by clicking **Send test **to ensure the accuracy.


Schedule Shipment View email


  1. Go to the AfterShip Tracking admin panel
  2. Select Shipments
  3. Select the view and click Email this view
  4. Select Schedule recurring under the Recurrence settings
  5. Enter a suitable name for the recurring email




  1. Enter a suitable Subject and Message
  2. Enter the necessary details under the Delivery schedule section, such as:


  • Frequency: Decide how frequently you want to send the emails.
  • Time of the day: Set a specific time to schedule the emails.



  1. Select the format in which you want to attach the selected view under the Additional options. The formats include CSV (standard format), CSV (custom format), Excel (standard format) and Excel (custom format).
  2. Merchants can also choose to send the email even if there’s no data in the particular view by checking the Send email even if there is no data option.
  3. Once done, click Schedule email



Edit recurring email content


Please note that only the owner, admin and managers can create or make changes to the scheduled email settings.


  1. Go to the AfterShip Tracking admin panel and click Shipments
  2. Click the view that you want to edit
  3. Select Manage recurring emails



  1. Click Edit from the drop down menu and modify the content in the right panel according to your suitability


Or


  1. Click Delete if you want to stop sending the recurring emails


You can also choose to click Deactivate if you want to activate the schedule again in future.
