How to Set Up Your Branded Claim Page?
Overview
A branded claim page helps your consumer to have a quick entrance to file a claim. They can use the order number/tracking number and email to search for the order and file a claim. You can set up your branding like logo, favicon, color, and background of the claim page, so that to provide a branding experience.
We provide a Protection policy page, you can review and update the policy based on your store service, and then add it to your store navigation footer link, to let your consumer know better about the shipping protection policy.
How it works
- Go to the claim page from AfterShip Admin > Protection > Claim page
1. Customized your claim page
Under the Style settings of the page, customize the aesthetics for your claims page in tune with your brand tone and messaging to give customers a fully on-brand claim submission experience.
- Add your brand logo to display at the top of the claims page. By default, AfterShip logo is added.
- Add a desired Favicon of your claims page.
- Set the Background image of the claim lookup page.
- Set the Color for the primary button on each page of the claim submission process.
2. Get your claim page URL
- Your customers can search for their protected orders, those purchased with AfterShip Protection, and file a claim using this link.
- The claim page URL is based on AfterShip’s branded tracking page and follows this format: {Tracking_page_url}/protection
- If you're using a custom domain, {Tracking_page_url} will be your custom domain.
3. Add a Protection policy page on your store footer navigation.
- To enhance your shipping protection service, we recommend adding the Protection Policy page to your store’s footer navigation.
- This page should explain what AfterShip Protection is, outline the information customers need to submit a claim, and include answers to frequently asked questions.
- Please review and customize the content to align with your store's policies before publishing. AfterShip Protection provides a template for reference only.
- Once edited, you can copy the policy URL and add it to your site.
- Enabling the checkbox "Add protection policy to claim page" will add a link to your protection policy on the claim submission page. This allows end customers to easily view the policy while submitting their claims.
