Manage shipment review tags
You can simply enable or disable shipment review tag visibility on the shipment review page according to your choice.
- Log in to the AfterShip Tracking admin dashboard.
- Select Tracking pages > Page variations.
- Go to the Tracking page variations.
- Click Actions > Edit.
- On the left-hand side menu, click Shipment review > Manage tags.
- Select whether you want to hide or show the review tags to shoppers on the Shipment review tags page by sliding the toggle button.
Create a new shipment review tag
- Click Create tag under the Shipment review tags pop-up.
- Select the star ratings from the dropdown menu. The available options are: All star ratings, 4 and 5 stars, and 1 - 3 stars.
- Enter a suitable **Tag name ** in the text field provided.
Delete or rename shipment review tags
Following are the scenarios for deleting or renaming the shipment review tags:
- You cannot delete or rename a default tag. However, you can enable or disable it.
- You can not delete or rename a custom tag if the number of reviews associated with that tag is greater than or equal to 1.
- You can not delete or rename a custom tag if the number of reviews associated with that tag is equal to 0.
Troubleshooting
- If you are unable to delete or rename a review tag, ensure the tag is a custom tag and has 0 associated reviews. Default tags and custom tags with one or more reviews cannot be deleted or renamed.
- If the “Create tag” button is grayed out, you may have reached the maximum limit of 100 tags. Delete unused tags to add new ones.
- If the tag name translation isn’t showing, make sure translations are added for each supported language. If not provided, the default tag name will be shown.
- If the changes aren’t reflecting on the tracking page, clear browser cache or try viewing the page in incognito mode to confirm recent changes are live.
Key Takeaways
- Enable or disable shipment review tags on the tracking page to control shopper visibility of shipping feedback options.
- Create custom review tags based on star rating groups (e.g., All, 4 – 5 stars, 1 – 3 stars) to categorize feedback meaningfully.
- Multilingual support ensures fallback to the default tag name if a translation isn’t provided.
- Up to 100 custom tags can be created to suit various feedback tracking needs.
