Timezones Visualization in AfterShip Tracking

Plans: All plans Platforms: All platforms

Overview

The timezone visualization lets you understand how date and time are mapped across the admin panel. Each date and time mentioned for various tracking events, checkpoints, and statuses is followed with a tooltip to give you an understanding of what timezone (local or international) is being followed and reflected on the admin portal to showcase the date and time.

Timezones are essential for eCommerce businesses to understand and deliver on shipping, estimated, and delivery dates. Online businesses must pay attention to the timezone of customers, suppliers, and carriers to save time and business and deliver to customers with utmost efficiency.

Timezone transparency also helps merchants

  • Effectively manage order delivery
  • Reduce the chances of failed delivery attempts
  • Track carrier delivery performance
  • Optimize shipping routes
  • Proactively address shipping incidents and delays
  • Ease customers' frustrations with proactive delivery updates in their local timezone
  • Recover abandoned carts with correct estimated delivery dates
